Accessories .... can change a room!

If you want to perk up your kitchen, and are not quite ready to lay out the big bucks for a kitchen renovation, then try adding accessories.

You can totally refresh and change the appearance of your kitchen with a new tablecloth, new tea towels, some candles, also taking away from the kitchen helps. Get rid of the clutter, have a nice tiny wicker basket at the end of the counter, if your counter tends to build up "stuff".. papers, pens, paperclips and such.

Add some storage to a wall, such as open shelves, or key hooks, these are not expensive, but can make a huge impact. This is a great way to show off your treasures that may be cluttering up your countertop or window sill. Corner shelves work very well also, and you can get decorative hardware, such as shelf brackets, or new knobs for the kitchen cupboards..

Buy some new placemats, or tablecloth, or new tea towels, these can add a punch of color to your kitchen.

There are so many ideas, some are extravagant and beautiful but "Cheap Chic" works just as well depending on the style of your kitchen.. Sometimes just changing the paint color on the walls.

On the next few pages are some ideas, and sources for accessories to give your pampered kitchen that extra touch and reflect your personality. The internet is a great place to shop for accessories, as they are from all over the world, and you may find styles and patterns, you just would not find in your home town or city.

I hope to inspire you with some creative ideas... check back often as I am always updating this site..
