Make sure your kitcen is functional.. a friend of mine just had a very expensive beautiful kitchen installed. She went throught weeks of kitchen construction and renovation. When I first saw it, I thought it was amazing, until I helped cook in it one day, and I realized that there was not one bit of countertop that had more than 2 feet of surface to work on! The stove top took up the island, the triple sink took up the other countertop, and I could not spread out my stuff the way I like to do, and yet this kitchen looked huge!. So make sure it works for you.. you don't have to fill up every bit of space with something, its nice to be able to spread out your supplies!
