Using a Over the Sink Shelf for Extra Kitchen Storage

So, what do you do if you are in a small kitchen, such as with a rental or apartment, or you are just not ready for that upgrade yet? Well you can try and utilize every square inch of the area.
One such area, is those few inches that are behind the kitchen sink. If your kitchen has the typical setup, with the kitchen sink against a wall or window, area, then there are not usually any cabinets above the sink. So, designers have come up with ingenious little ways to use up these small spaces. Below is the picture of such a product.

You could add even more, by heading to the dollar store and getting those little baskets, for storing smaller items and placing these baskets on the shelf. This chrome over the sink shelf, would be perfect for housing baskets, which will allow even more things to be stored on this shelf, yet look neat.

So, if you are just piling up things on the sink edge, making the counter look cluttered, and making it hard to clean, then consider getting an over the sink shelf.
