Or if the budget is tight, but your kitchen just needs a little something?.. then go for what I call "Cheap Chic".. which basically means dressing up a few things, getting rid of some clutter, and you have a new kitchen!

Its nice to have an assortment of linens and accessories, so allow for some storage in your kitchen or with your house linens for some nice table coverings!
